Study with Us
On Wednesday evening, November 16th from 7:30 to 8:30 via Zoom, we will explore how people down through the ages learned to recognize the hours of day and night as an invitation to praise the Creator of all in what we have come to call The Liturgy of the Hours. Dominican Sister Elaine Jahrsdoerfer will lead us.

Pray with Us
We’ll gather together via Zoom Wednesday evenings at 8:30 pm, to pray a section of Liturgy of the Hours known as Compline. (November 30, December 7, 14, 21).

Celebrate with Us
Join us for the very festive celebration of Lessons and Carols on Sunday, December 11th at 3pm in Queen of the Rosary Chapel, 555 Albany Avenue, Amityville. (Bring a small bell for ringing as we anticipate the joy of Christmas.) COVID protocol: vaccination and masks are required please.

Serve with us
Help those in need experience the presence of Christ living among us now by bringing a gift card from the supermarket of your choice to Lessons and Carols. These will be passed along to our sisters working among those in need for distribution. (If you are not able to attend on the 11th, you can mail the cards to the Associates Office at Dominican Sisters, 555 Albany Avenue, Amityville, NY 11701
