"Thank you for the invitation to the motherhouse on Sunday. It was a very sacred day with a beautiful flow of energy. I have much to share about what I liked. I’m still processing so I’ll start here:
I loved that it all took place at the motherhouse. It truly is an honor to be invited to be in a space where many beautiful, strong and loving women have dwelled. I just love that room! It has great energy. All of the participants were just lovely. The presentation scored by your artwork was Divine and special. I know that scoring is the term for music but each (words and art) elevated the other in the same way that scoring a movie or presentation does. It was a beautiful union of your (plural) Divine Inscape. I wish it was recorded because there were so many gems. Just a wonderful day. Thank you! Please express my thanks to sister too…and the sisters of St Dominic for graciously sharing their space.

Dropping into AWE-tumn Silence: Seeing with the Enlightened Eye: Join us for a retreat day of silence, artful meditation practice and time for silent prayer and quiet discovery on the beautiful grounds of the Motherhouse of the Sisters of St. Dominic in Amityville.
Brief Overview of Day: 9:30 Arrival and Coffee/bagels 10:00-10:10: Opening Meditation in Chapel 10:20-10:50: Reflections by Sr. Margaret and Maureen (Mo) in Regensburg Room 11:00-12:30: Artful Contemplative Practice 12:30-1:00: Boxed lunch provided (if you have special dietary needs, you are welcome to bring your own lunch) 1:00-2:15: FREE TIME with options to 1. go out on the grounds; 2. private prayer in chapel or 3. drop color, or 4. attend optional session about “What is Spiritual Direction: Am I being called”? 2:20-2:50: SHARING TOGETHER
