Sept 18/19: Join the Sisters of St. Dominic and the Sisters of St. Joseph in welcoming Jesuit Brother Guy Consolmagno, astronomer and former director of the Vatican Observatory. He will guide us in exploring the question: Does the Universe Hold a Promise for Us? Exploring Wonder, Beauty, and Science.
We begin with Evensong on Friday, September 18 at 7:30 pm, at which he will offer a reflection. This will be followed by a reception and--weather permitting--Star Gazing with the help of the Amateur Observers’ Society. We gather again on Saturday morning September 19th at 10 am for a public lecture followed by a simple lunch.
